One thing I get a lot of requests for is yoga workout for beginners classes.
Well, that’s exactly what I’ve got for you today! A 25-minute follow-along yoga video workout for beginners. In fact, as I write this, the video is being uploaded to YouTube. I’ll embed it below when it’s ready…

I’ll give you a little summary on my approach. And where I think you should begin.
Thing is – I’ve always been a hardcore fitness buff (ha! see what I did there?).
So my yoga practice typically incorporates some essence of fitness. Usually by adding in calisthenics and bodyweight fitness.
Hence why I call this a Yoga Workout for Beginners class.
This particular class doesn’t incorporate a lot of calisthenics, though. It’s mostly just a quick movement practice inspired by Power Yoga.
However, if you’ve never done yoga before… I’d recommend you learn about breathing. Because that’s a big part of a yoga practice – the union of breath and movement.

That’ll give you some understanding on breathing throughout a yoga practice.
But even more valuable than some video on the internet… check out yoga studios in your area. Practicing in a class with an instructor is the best way to get started. And if you want a more vigorous, faster-paced yoga practice – seek out power, ashtanga and vinyasa classes. Those are my fav’s ;P
